Wind, Women, & Water 1-Day Clinic

Adult Evening Clinic | Women Only | Cherry Creek Reservoir

Taught by women. Meant for women*. Why should the guys have all the fun? Come join us for an evening clinic, go for a sail with a small group of other women, “learn the ropes” so to speak, and see what sailing is all about. Come with an open mind, an adventurous spirit, and lots of questions. We’ll cater the content of each clinic to the interests of the participants so every clinic will be different!

Using a larger, more stable, keelboat makes this a perfect vessel for those just starting off as well as those who are building on their foundational skills. These weekly clinics are “à la carte” so you can sign up for one or many and be sure to come with questions. We will cater each class’s content to the interests of the group.

*And by women we mean anyone who is not cisgender male. Outside of that, everyone’s welcome!

Adult Basic Keelboat 1-Day Clinic

This is a perfect introductory program for anyone interested in trying out sailing for the first time or even those interested in brushing up on the basics. This co-ed class utilizes a larger, more stable, keelboat making it the perfect beginner platform where participants sail with the instructor. You will rotate through various positions on the boat learning about all the different aspects involved in sailing. These weekly clinics are “à la carte” so you can sign up for one or many and be sure to come with questions. We will cater each class’s content to the interests of the group.

Join us for once-weekly, 3-hour sessions over 4 weeks. These classes are designed for adults who have no previous sailing experience. This co-ed class utilizes a larger, more stable, keelboat making it the perfect beginner platform where participants sail with the instructor. You will rotate through various positions on the boat learning about all the different aspects involved in sailing and progressing through skills as the weeks progress. Participants learn basic boat handling, rigging, terminology, steering, points of sail, and sail trim. Sign up solo or with a group of friends.

Private Lessons

Schedule Based on Availability

Take advantage of accelerated learning when you’re working with your own private instructor on one of our keelboats. Private lessons can be solo or with a small group. Family lessons are also available but all minors must be accompanied by an adult onboard.

Cost: $150 per hour for one person (minimum 2 hours). Each additional person is $50 per hour on top of the single-person rate.

**Private lessons are only available when we have additional staff who can accommodate this service. The link below will be open if that is the case. If the link below is not open for submissions we are not able to offer private lessons.
