The CSC Racing Program is a great way for any of our Advanced or Intro to Advanced campers to learn racing fundamentals while continuing to hone their skills. Sailors are encouraged but not mandated to participate in competitive regattas (sailing races) both in and out of state.
Junior Race Team | Ages 8-12
Junior Race Team paves the way to help you build a solid foundation of sailing skills while learning and practicing the challenging dynamics of sailboat racing. Junior Racers will focus on racing Optis, Teras, or Laser 4.7s (depending on the location). Race Team gives sailors the chance to learn and practice advanced skills in a competitive, team-focused environment.
High School Sailing Team | Ages 13-18
For students in grades 8-12, this team focuses on fine-tuning boat handling, skipper/crew communication, even work with a spinnaker as well as racing tactics and strategy. Using c420s and Lasers, the High School Team is a great way to participate in a unique sport that you can take to college and beyond.
